Expressing confidence that the NDA would form the next government in Bihar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said that there was no confusion over seat-sharing for the upcoming state assembly polls.
"There is no problem as far as the NDA's seat sharing formula for the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls is concerned. Talks are going on regarding adjustment of seats. There is no doubt that the NDA will form the next government in Bihar," BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain told ANI here.
"People of Bihar have already made up their mind to vote for us. Our alliance with Jitan Ram's Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) , Ram Vilas Paswan's LJP (Lok Janshakti Party)) and Upendra Kushwaha's RLSP (Rashtriya Lok Samta Party) are very strong," he added.
Responding to the allegations of Janata Dal (United) that the BJP has made former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi a beggar, Hussain said: "The JD (U) should be concerned about themselves. They are already sweating after hearing the news of Owaisi's decision to contest the Bihar polls."
The term of the 243-member Bihar Assembly comes to an end on November 29. The polls in the state will begin on October 12 and conclude on November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
