Former Pakistani Test captain Waqar Younis has said that he has no differences with the incumbent chief selector-cum-team manager Moin Khan or, for that matter, with any player of the national team.

Younis, who is regarded as a strong candidate for the position of Pakistan's national team head coach, said that he just met the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi to express his availability as head coach for the team.

According to The Dawn, Younis, who resigned under mysterious circumstances after working as national head coach from March 2010 to August 2011, also said that he would like to express that he has got no differences with Khan and any other player,

The former skipper said that Pakistan had given him a lot, emphasizing that it is the duty of them all to remain ready to serve their country.

Younis said that although he had filed an application for the head coach last time, Khan got selected for the last two assignments.

However, Younis added that he feels it is the PCB's authority to select any one for any designated position and that if he is given a chance now, he would definitely execute the plans he has made for the national team.

Although Younis is widely tipped to be named as Pakistan's next head coach but a final decision in this regard would be made after May 5, the report added.
