American golf ace Tiger Woods has said that he has no fixed timetable for his return to playing as he still cannot fully swing a club, following his dethroning as World No.1 by Australian Adam Scott in the recent rankings.

The 14-time Major champion underwent a microdiscectomy operation March 31 to ease a pinched nerve at his back, forcing him to miss the Masters for the first time in his career.

According to Sport24, Woods said that he remains uncertain if he can play in the upcoming US Open, which begins from June 12-15 at Pinehurst, North Carolina and admitted he does not know when he can begin his comeback bid.

Woods indicated for the first time that he was having major doubts about ever making a comeback in the days before surgery and revealed that it was a task for him even getting out of the bed before the surgery.

Woods also said he still cannot play catch with his children and bending and twisting remain issues.
