Former England wicket-keeper Matt Prior has said that he does not hold any grudges against ex-team-mate Kevin Pietersen.

Pietersen had accused Prior, who recently announced his retirement from cricket, of being a backstabber, a bully and bad for the team environment in his autobiography written last year.

Prior said he was not the kind of person to hold grudges and it was time for everyone to move on, the BBC has reported.

He also said that it was a very tough time, to hear things said about himself and hear oneself described a certain way. He also added that it was tough to deal.

Prior said that neither he nor other team-mates recognised that description, but added that 'it was water under the bridge.'

Meawhile, the maverick batsman wished him 'all the best' after hearing his retirement.
