Nobel Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi to address 'Taiwan Night' in Delhi

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in India is organizing a unique cultural performance by youth ambassadors from Taiwan and India, called "Taiwan Night" on September 2, at the Federation House here.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) has been conducting International Youth Ambassadors Exchange Program since 2009. The theme for the 2015 delegation is "Youth from Taiwan, Compassion for All."

Kailash Satyarthi, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 2014 and Mr Chung- Kwang Tien, Ambassador, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India will address the session.

 

"The Taiwan Night" is a special arranged cultural project in New Delhi initiated by Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India to encourage and enhance the mutual understanding and cultural communication amongst people of both India and Taiwan.

The cultural night will have performances by Youth Ambassadors delegation from Taiwan along with students from O P Jindal University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Amity University, Rotary International District 3010 and other prestigious schools.
