North Korean scientists make 'mushroom' sports drinks to improve athletic performance

Scientists in North Korea have reportedly made a sports drink out of mushrooms in order to improve athletic performance.

The nation's state news agency has reportedly announced that the country has developed a 'very effective' mushroom drink for helping sportsmen and women recover from exertion, apart from other inventions going on in North Korea.

According to the Mirror, it was revealed that scientists in North Korea had succeeded in finding the way to cultivate mushroom fungus and made a functional drink, and the natural drink is very effective in enhancing the physical ability of sports persons and recovering from their fatigues.

The regime of dictator Kim Jung-un reportedly seems to be focusing on mushrooms and it also recently announced that North Korea had established a Central Mushroom Research Institute in the country's capital city, Pyongyang.
