External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday appreciated passport officers saying not a single day passes when she doesn't get to hear some appreciation for them in the form of tweets on her handle.
"When we met last year on the 26th of June, I was unhappy. I was unhappy because we came to power on May 26 the same year and I would always get to hear some complaints relating to passport services," Sushma said while launching a police verification mobile application.
The External Affairs Minister also read out the tweets of celebrities including film stars Preity Zinta and Deepika Padukone who had been effusive in their praise of the passport seva.
