Notorious criminal held in Gurugram

In a major breakthrough, a team of Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a notorious criminal, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, from near Kamla Nehru Park, Sohna Chowk.

While stating this here on Wednesday, a spokesman of Haryana Police said that arrested accused has been identified as Ravinder alias Rabbo, a resident of Rohta Patti, Hodal, Palwal district. A pistol and two live cartridges were also recovered from his possession.

Police said the arrested criminal was allegedly involved in several cases of crime including an attempt to murder, theft, obstructing public servant in discharge of duty, rioting and criminal intimidation. He was also declared a proclaimed offender in a case registered at Sadar Police Station, Palwal.

 

Meanwhile, Director General of Police, B S Sandhu appreciated DIG, STF, Sateesh Balan and his team for intensifying efforts to crack down on criminals in the state.
