A new beer cooler has been created that does not require electricity but just requires digging a deep hole into the ground.

The 'eCool' harnesses a very old concept of Cellars that were dug into the earth to keep food cool. In this case it keeps the beer underground and makes it easily accessible for consumption, CNET reported.

The machine is nearly 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and it can hold 24 cans that can live in the ground all year long keeping them as cold as the surrounding ground.

However, the device is not restricted to alcoholic beverages only, it could also work just fine for soda or sparkling water cans and it costs around 300 dollars.
