All Nippon Airways (ANA), the Japan's largest airlines, has announced plans to serve Ramen Noodles to its passengers from June 1, 2013.

Ramen dishes have been developed exclusively for the Japanese airline by Hakata IPPUDO, the famous Ramen Noodle chain based in Kyushu, Japan.

Operated and managed by Chikaranomoto Company Co., Ltd, Hakata IPPUDO has expanded its market to seven countries.

It is popular worldwide and has even been declared the most delicious noodles in New York.

The noodles will be available as one of the light meal choices for first class and business class passengers on ANA international flights.

In order to tackle the obstacles in producing noodles in the aircraft, the Ippudo has developed very thin noodles which can be cooked at 80 degrees C on the flight.

Ippudo will provide its famous Tonkotsu soup on the European routes and Soy sauce ramen on the American lines.

ANA also plans to expand the "Flying Ramen" service to the Asian lines in the near future.
