Google's new update to its Android Device Manager app will now allow users to locate their lost phones.
The update will enable users to say "Ok, Google. Start. Find my phone," into their Android Wear device and their Android phone will start ringing at full volume.
Earlier, tools designed by Apple, Google and Microsoft, to curb theft, could make a lost phone ring, even when on silent mode, but it also required the user to make their way to a computer, or use someone else's phone to do it. However, Google's new update has replaced that step in the process with an Android Wear device, The Verge reported.
The update will also allow users to enable the tracker by clicking the "Find my phone" option, which can now be found in the Start menu.
