An England-based creator has come up with a beer that is a completely legal bevy, despite being brewed with cannabis plants.
The creator, Giles Hawkins, who uses barley, hops, yeast and a kilo of lower strength cannabis leaves per batch, said that it has a light colour, a citrus taste on the palate and a dry finish, the Daily Star reported.
Hawkins, who is considering calling the ale "Hey Ho" because of its hemp and hops' combo, added that it was 4 percent proof and would cost 3 pounds a pint.
He continued that since the hemp, belonging to the same family as the hops, was Government certificated, the bevvy was "all legal".
Hawkins is set to debut his creation at a West Country beer festival, which has a rock 'n roll theme, in October 2014.
