Justin Bieber was recently arrested for assault and dangerous driving after he slammed his bike into a minivan, near his hometown Stratford, Ontario.
Ontario Provincial Police said that they took in the 20-year-old pop brat, who also got into a fight with the driver, after investigating the scene, and had released him on "promise to appear" in court on 29 September, the BBC reported.
Brian Greenspan, Bieber's lawyer, stated through e-mail that the 'Baby' singer's "peaceful retreat" with Selena Gomez was disturbed by unwanted paparazzi, which unfortunately resulted in charges of dangerous driving and assault.
Bieber, who is known for his notorious image, is already serving 2 years probation for throwing eggs at his neighbour's house in LA, in addition to the assault charge in Toronto following an altercation between a limo driver and a passenger last December.
