LG has unveiled a prototype of their future TV, which is transparent and can be rolled like a plastic sheet.
This new set from LG uses a flexible OLED display that can be rolled up and tucked under one's arm or squeezed inside a suitcase.The current prototype from the Korean tech company has an 18-inch screen, but LG reckons in the future it'll be able produce mega 50-inch versions, the Daily Star reports.
Senior Vice President of the R and D Centre at LG Display said that they are confident that by 2017, they will successfully develop an Ultra HD flexible and transparent OLED TV.
In- LG Display pioneered the OLED TV market and is now leading the next-generation applied OLED technology.
