Mercedes-Benz is reportedly set to unveil a Pebble smartwatch to demonstrate vehicle connectivity at CES 2014 in Las Vegas.
The luxury car maker would show a concept car that connects with a Pebble smartwatch that displays vehicle data and current navigation info sourced from the car's software.
According to Cnet, this customized Pebble smartwatch concept will serve as a demonstration of the type of connectivity research Mercedes-Benz performs at its Silicon Valley lab.
A user can keep track of fuel level, door lock status and other such things with Pebble smartwatch integration while away from the car.
The smartwatch could also offer walking navigation from a parking lot to the owner's actual destination.
Car manufacturer Nissan had also unveiled its Nismo concept smartwatch last year that focused on gathering and displaying performance data from Nissan's Nismo models.
