The sledging seems to be keep growing for the England cricket team after their shock exit from the World Cup in the group stages, and the latest criticism to come their way was from a wrestler during a professional wrestling broadcast.

During the WWE's Monday Night Raw show this week commentator John 'Bradshaw' Layfield, better known as JBL, took the opportunity to stick the boot in to the England squad during a fight involving English wrestler Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan.

Layfield stated that Barrett was about to look like England after Bangladesh got hold of them, while the two wrestlers had a go at each other in the arena, News.com.au reported.

The sledge came in the wake of Eoin Morgan's side suffering a 15-run loss to Bangladesh, which saw them crashing out of the World Cup and prompted cricket experts and fans to slam the team.

Now, England would face Afghanistan in their final match of the tournament on Friday and Morgan's men would be looking to avoid disappointment against the minnows, the report added.
