New South Wales is reportedly enticing Indian visitors with its new tourism campaign, promising "jhappi (hug) time" with their loved ones.
The campaign, which features four 60 second commercials, where Indian families fly to NSW for some "jhappi time" with their loved ones, attracts Indians to visit family and friends living in Australia.
The commercial uses the concept of "jhappi time" to increase Indian visitor numbers by at least 10 per cent over the next 12 months, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The attempt is seen as Australia's biggest ever tourism campaign, aimed at increasing the number of Indian tourists by targeting the Indian inbound tourism market.
