Controversial American rock musician Ted Nugent has reportedly apologized for calling US President Barack Obama a "subhuman mongrel".
After his campaign appearance with Texas's Republican gubernatorial hopeful caused a stir, Nugent issued an apology regretting his remarks.
When asked by conservative radio host Ben Ferguson on his show if he would apologize to the president, the rocker said that he had crossed the line and would apologize, not necessarily to the president, but on behalf of much better men than himself, like the best governor in America, Gov. Rick Perry, the best attorney general in America, Politico reported.
However, when asked what he would say to Obama if he were listening, a surprised Nugent reacted by saying that there was an agenda for Fergusen.
