Barack Obama's half-sibling has confessed that his initial impression of the current President of the United States of America was that he is just "too black".

During an interview with Newsmax, Mark Ndesandjo said that when they first met in 1988, Obama found him "too white" while he found him "too black", the Washington Times reported.

Ndesandjo, who has released his new book 'Nairobi to Shenzhen', revealed that the first African American President was very much influenced by African nationalists and had very strong opinions about the roles of independence during those years.

He added that they had different points of view as Obama was raised in white America and was probably looking for his African roots as a cultural journey, while he wanted to explore his western roots.
