On the second leg of his African tour, U.S. President Barack Obama has reportedly arrived in Ethiopia. He was greeted at Addis Ababa's international airport by Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn.

President Obama, who is the first serving U.S. leader to visit the country, will hold talks with government officials and also take up the issue of the civil war in South Sudan with regional leaders, reported the BBC.

He will also be the first U.S. president to address the 54-member African Union at its headquarters in Addis Ababa on Tuesday.

President Obama flew to Ethiopia after a two-day visit to Kenya.
