Barack Obama who recently visited National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo was greeted by realistic humanoid robot Asimo who could run, jump and kick a football.

The President of USA said that the robots were little scary, as they were too lifelike, after Asimo displayed his football skills to him, News 24 reported.

The robot, developed by Honda, also ran and jumped in the room, and can be used as an aid for elderly people or to perform tasks hazardous to humans, like fighting fires or cleaning toxic spills.

The humanoid robot is about the size of a 10-year-old child in an astronaut suit.
