President Barack Obama has not yet decided how to respond to Syria's apparent use of chemical weapons against civilians, the White House has said.
The response comes as the Obama administration ratcheted up its rhetoric against Bashar al-Assad's regime.
Press Secretary Jay Carney said that the administration is continuing to review potential responses, to consult with America's allies and partners, and with Congress as the review is being made.
According to Politico, but Obama has not made that decision about how to react, he added.
Carney's comments came soon after Secretary of State John Kerry said it's undeniable that chemical weapons have been used in Syria.
Kerry said that the only question was the definitive confirmation whether the weapons were deployed by Assad's military.
