President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama congratulated Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton on the birth of their baby girl.
Obama said in a statement that he and Michelle were delighted to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family, and all the people of the United Kingdom on the birth of the Royal Princess, People Magazine reported.
The POTUS added that on behalf of the American people, they wish the Duke and Duchess and their son George much joy and happiness on the occasion of the arrival of the newest member of their family.
The little girl, whose name has not yet been released, was born 2nd May and weighed in at 8 lbs., 3 oz.
