Odisha State Truck Owners' Federation (OSTOF) has said that they would go on a state-wide strike from the second week of June if the state government does not fulfil its eleven-point charter of demands.
OSTOF General Secretary Rabi Satpathy demanded that the government's decision to cancel fitness certificate, road permit and registration certificate of a truck without any investigation in case of an accident should be withdrawn.
He further threatened that over 1.3 lakh trucks will stay off roads if the decision is not revoked.
