Olympic star Greg Rutherford has welcomed a baby boy with his girlfriend Susie Verill.
The 27-year-old long jump gold medalist, who's now a first time father, took to Twitter to share his happy news along with a cute snap of his baby's hand clasped around his parents' fingers, and wrote "happiest day of my life," the Daily Express reported.
It is believed that couple has named their son Milo, as the name was accidentally revealed by Verill's brother in a congratulatory post on his Twitter account, which has now been deleted.
Rutherford had earlier said that he hoped being a father would help him become a better athlete, as it was believed that one stopped worrying about little things in training because the presence of a "little one" made things special.
