The British stuntman who parachuted into the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony dressed as James Bond along with a stuntman dressed as the Queen, has reportedly been killed in a wing-diving accident.
According to Telegraph.com.au, Mark Sutton died on Wednesday after crashing into a ridge near Martigny in Switzerland during a three-day wing-diving event.
The report further said that wing divers wear special suits which allow them to glide through the air, adding that Sutton had jumped from a helicopter, although police said that they did not yet know the cause of the accident.
The report also mentioned that the former army officer had played the role of British actor Daniel Craig in one of the most memorable sequences of the ceremony, while accompanied by another stuntman dressed as Queen Elizabeth II.
