One person died in a stampede at an election campaign of Jan Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan here on Friday.
The mishap took place when the stage collapsed, leading to chaos.
"People fell on each other. In that rush, one Siraj, 30, got critically injured and succumbed to his injuries later in the hospital," said the police.
Further investigation in this regard is underway.
