At least one person was killed and six others severely injured after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detonated near government employees' vehicle in Kabul on Monday morning.
The heavy explosion took place in Bagrami area, targeting the education ministry workers.
A police official confirmed that the explosive device was planted in a bus carrying Ministry of Education workers and was detonated in Bagram area, reports Khaama Press.
Today's blast comes two days after Kabul city was hit by rocket attack which did not incur any casualties.
Meanwhile, no group including the Taliban militants have claimed responsibility behind the incident so far.
