One killed, two injured after gunmen fire on plane at Peshawar Airport

One female passenger was killed and two airline crew members were injured after gunmen opened fire on a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane arriving at Peshawar Airport.

The BBC quoted the police, as saying that PIA flight PK756 was carrying about 178 passengers from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. They said five bullets had hit the plane.

It said that a female passenger was killed and two crew members were injured in the attack.

Pakistan's Dawn newspaper said security forces have cordoned off the Bacha Khan Airport in Peshawar and launched a hunt for the gunmen.
