At least one of the three suspects in the Charlie Hebdo shootings in Paris has reportedly surrendered to the police.
According to Deadline.com and as reported by French daily Le Monde, Hamyd Mourad, 18, who was ID'd as one of the suspects in the killing of 12 people at the offices of the satirical newspaper, turned himself in.
The remaining two suspects, identified as brothers Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, both Frenchmen were still at large. A massive hunt has been launched to nab the killers.
At least 12 people were killed and 10 wounded after masked gunmen stormed the offices of a French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris on Wednesday.
The French publication had reportedly tweeted a cartoon mocking IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi just an hour before the gunmen barged into their office and wrecked havoc.
The place was earlier attacked over its portrayal of the Prophet Mohammed.
A journalist with Agence Premiere Ligne who witnessed the scene said that several men came armed with machine guns.
He said that two officers also arrived but left unarmed, apparently.
The attacks have triggered outrage across the world.
