Now, OnePlus has announced through its official support page that with the upcoming OTA update, the issue with the adaptive brightness will be resolved. The company did not mention as to when the rollout will officially begin but said it will be released soon. It is likely that the OTA update will be released with the August Android security patch.
OnePlus 6 is the company's latest addition to the premium line of Android smartphones. The smartphone costs Rs 34,999 for the base model and boasts up to 8GB of RAM, dual-cameras, bezel-less notch display, and Snapdragon 845 SoC as some of its key features.
