"JDU, TMC, INLD, RJD and SP are protesting against the government. The Prime Minister had promised people that he would get back black money, but now he is misleading them. We will raise the issue of black money in the Parliament today," said Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav.

Meanwhile, the TMC staged a separate protest against Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue in the Parliament.

"Our protest is against false allegations made by Arun Jaitley against the opposition, indirectly pointing to the TMC," said party leader Sougata Roy.

Earlier today, the Janata Parivar staged a protest against the government at Jantar Mantar over issues of Black money, unemployment, farmer issues and communal tensions in the country.

The protest is being led by party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
