Opposition's move to ban 'Mann Ki Baat' shows frustration, says BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Sambit Patra on Wednesday said that moves being made by the opposition parties to ban Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme this Sunday demonstrated their absolute frustration.

"This shows the absolute frustration of the Congress Party. In fact, as far as the 'Mann Ki Baat' is concerned, we have always seen that it is a platform for bringing out positives in the society," Patra told ANI.

The Congress Party is likely to approach the Election Commission seeking a ban on the broadcast of Prime Minister Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' program, which is scheduled to be aired on Sunday

According to reports, the Congress is citing the Model Code of Conduct, which is presently in place for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, as the reason for opposing the 'Mann Ki Baat' program.
