The Weinstein Co. and BBC have approached 'Orphan Black' star Tatiana Maslany to join the cast of their upcoming film 'The Woman in Gold, it has been revealed.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film is based on a true story, which will be helmed by Simon Curtis and will star Helen Mirren as a Holocaust survivor, who's trying to get back her long-lost family heirlooms 60 years after Nazi soldiers stole from her home.
28-year-old Maslany would portray young Mirren in the flashback scenes which will also stars Ryan Reynolds as Mirren's attorney.
The screenplay of the film is written by Alexi Kay Campbell and it begins shooting later in May.
