Emmanuel Lubezki has done it again. For three years in a row, he has walked away with the Oscar for Best Cinematography.

After winning for 'Birdman' last year and 'Gravity' the year before, the Mexican-born director of photography scored the golden lady this year for his work on 'The Revenant.'

Lubezki's win means that British cinematographer Roger Deakins, who has been nominated this year for 'Sicario,' goes home empty-handed for the 13th time.

The 88th Academy Awards took place on February 28 at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre.
