'Oscar-nominated' Stanley Mann passes away at 87

Oscar-nominated screenwriter Stanley Mann has passed away at the age of 87.

His wife Joan revealed that the film-writer had died two weeks ago in his Los Angeles home, following a long sickness, the People magazine reports.

Mann, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his work on the 1965 film 'The Collector,' had starred in films including 'Conan the Destroyer,' 'Damien: Omen II' and 'The Mouse That Roared.'

The funeral arrangements of Stanley is pending.
