Music legend A.R Rahman has been replaced by another Academy award-winning composer Marco Beltrami in the upcoming film 'Seventh Son.'
While the Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore starrer film could have been another big project for the Oscar winning Indian music composer, 47, unfortunately Rahman chose to opt out of the project at the last minute.
The Universal Pictures project has now filled the position by signing composer Beltrami, who's known for his work on 'The Hurt Locker,' 'Live Free or Die Hard' and 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.'
Earlier this year, Rahman had taken to Twitter stating that "due to schedule incompatibility, I will not be scoring the Hollywood movie 'Seventh Son'. All other movies are on in full swing!"
The film, which will reunite 'The Big Lebowski' pair Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore after 17 years, follows the story of a supernatural champion named Master Gregory (Bridges) who defeated Mother Malkin (Moore), a malevolent witch.
The film will hit the Indian theatres on January 23, 2015.
