Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Manoj Jha on Sunday said that All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has committed a historical mistake by announcing the decision to contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls.

"There is no possibility of polarization in the Bihar Assembly elections. This is because the grand alliance of Nitish Kumar's JD (U), Lalu Yadav's RJD and Congress is formed with the prime objective of social development of all communities, including the OBCs, Dalits, Mahadalits. Owaisi should have taken the decision carefully so that he does not regret later of committing a historical mistake," Jha told ANI here.

Commenting on the Shiv Sena's decision to contest the Bihar polls, Jha said, "There is no place for Hindutava in Bihar. Bihar will only vote on the agenda of social development and if somebody comes to incite the people then they will be thrown out by the people of Bihar."
