Australia has beaten England in the opening one-day match of the women's Ashes series at Lord's, with spinners Erin Osborne and Jess Jonassen starring with the ball.
According to news.com.au, the 27-run win gives the Aussies a two-point lead in the series, with two one-day and three Twenty20 matches remaining to be played.
Australia, now require to win only two of the remaining five matches, to retain the Ashes, the report said.
England looked in the box seat after Australia set the home side 204 to win, with England 1-99 in the 28th over before Jonassen (4-38 off 8.3 overs) and Osborne (3-39 off 10) subdued the run chase, the report added.
