Australian multi-millionaire and media and casino mogul James Packer and his singer-model wife Erica Baxter have reportedly announced that they are splitting up after six years of marriage.
According to News.com.au, Packer married Baxter in a lavish ceremony in the south of France in 2007, rumoured to have cost upwards of six million dollars, which was attended by Hollywood and big business royalty, including Tom Cruise and then wife Katie Holmes, Lachlan and Sarah Murdoch, Alan Jones and Shane Warne.
The report mentioned that Packer and Baxter dated on-and-off for four years, before they married, adding that they have three children.
According to a statement, Packer and Baxter said that they will remain close friends and that their children are their priority to moving forward, adding that the couple had only just finished renovating their new 50 million-dollar mansion in Sydney.
Packer, who was also married to swimsuit model Jodhi Meares for three years, is one of Australia's wealthiest men and has extensive interests in casinos, and the report added that his personal wealth is estimated at six billion dollars.
