While the Proteas tour Australia for three Twenty20 games and a key five-match ODI series, skipper Michael Clarke has said that the rivalry between the Australian and the South African team is "extremely competitive" and added that there is a huge amount of mutual respect between the two.
Clarke also remarked that this summer will see both teams putting up a tough competition on the field but added that the two teams share a "fantastic relationship," reported News.com.au.
The Australian batsman said that once the match is over, the team will walk into the opposition change room and have a beer no matter what the outcome of the Test series or Test match is.
Relations between the two teams were strained during a Test series in South Africa earlier this year when Clarke came to blows with Proteas quick Dale Steyn. However, he apologized later for being "out of line.
