Meera Naveed, who was on a personal and professional roller-coaster, seems to have bounced back with her own production company.

With Meera Films and Media House, the 38-year-old actress hopes to play her part in lending impetus to the emerging movie industry in Pakistan, reports the Express Tribune.

Terming herself as a prominent personality of the country, she said that she wants to promote a soft image of Pakistan and her agenda is to introduce educated and new faces in the film industry.

She added that it's her aim to show the world that hers was not a terrorist country, and offered lucrative filmmaking opportunities.

Meera is also planning on producing 10 films under her banner, of which her first film, 'Oscar' in which she will be playing a lead role will hit the floor in July.

Despite of her unsuccessful Bollywood career, the 'Nazar' actress claims that she is successful today and has been doing well on the philanthropic front as well.
