Pakistan bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed has insisted that his team need to improve their fitness level ahead of next year's Twenty20 World Cup in India.
Pakistan suffered a three-run defeat against England in a last over thriller in Dubai on Friday and thereby lost the three-match T20 series 0-2. The final match will be played on Monday.
Former leg-spinner Ahmed said that modern cricket requires fielding and better fitness and insisted that Pakistan need to raise their performance and fitness in order to compete at the highest level, Sport24 reported.
Pakistan are currently ranked fourth in the T20 world rankings.
