A Pakistani court has reportedly issued an arrest warrant for all-rounder Umar Akmal for violating traffic rules and fighting with a policeman.

Currently, Akmal is in Bangladesh as part of the team playing in the Asia Cup tournament.

According to The Dawn, the court has summoned Akmal over a dispute with a traffic warden, which took place in early February, and ordered that Akmal was to be presented before it on March 11 after his arrest.

Akmal and captain Misbah-ul Haq made a fifth-wicket stand of 121 in the opening match of the Asia Cup, where he hit 74 off 72 balls with seven boundaries and three sixes.
