Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that disputes with India can be resolved through dialogue and path of negotiation.
According to Dawn, the defence minister said that Pakistan wants peace with India but it should not be mistaken as weakness.
He said that, however, the premier regrets that since the past few months, the desire for peace has been misconstrued by India.
Asif also said that the process of unprovoked firing by Indian forces is not in favour of peace.
He further added that the country's economy has been weakened due to terrorism since the last three decades, and that China is extending cooperation to Pakistan to help improve the latter's economy.
