The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan, said they had no knowledge of Pakistani nationals' association with the Islamic State in Iraq.
Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said reports about IS in Pakistan's tribal areas was not correct, adding that the Pakistani forces fighting against terrorism were in the middle of its success, the Dawn reports.
Earlier, members of the Islamic State (IS) militant group distributed pamphlets in Pakistan and border areas of Afghanistan in an attempt to expand its influence over people.
The IS militants have urged people to support the group's efforts to establish an Islamic Caliphate, reported the Express Tribune.
The pamphlet consisted of a booklet titled victory, which was published in Dari and Pashto languages. IS militants have introduced themselves as Daulat-e-Islamia ( Islamic State) in the hand-outs.
Many hardline groups in Pakistan and Afghanistan have shown support for the self proclaimed Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
