Pak denies Saudi minister's visit related to Musharraf's treason case

Pakistan has denied of reports linking Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al Faisal's visit to Islamabad with a secret arrangement being made by the international powers for the former president General Pervez Musharraf to escape the nation at a time when he is being tried for high treason.

Foreign Office said that Musharraf's case was Pakistan's internal matter and no other country will be allowed to exert pressure, the Express Tribune reports.

Musharraf, who was due to appear for treason hearing on January 2, was admitted to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) after he complained of chest pain.
