Pak editor of Dawn News passes away at 50

Chief editor of Pakistani news website, Dawn.com, Musadiq Sanwal, passed away on Friday after battling with lung cancer.

The 50-year old Pakistani musician and journalist had co-founded Matteela, a website for photography, music, film, art and literature based in Lahore.

Sanwal's funeral prayers would be held today, and his burial would take place in his hometown of Multan, Dawn reports.

He is survived by a wife and two children.
