Pak get off to shaky start against Oz's pace attack on opening day of first Test

Pakistan made a slow start to their first innings on the opening day of the first Test, as they struggle to find pace against the Australian bowlers.

Pakistan lost openers Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez early after they won the toss and elected to bat against Australia at the Dubai International Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.

Shehzad was bowled out for his individual score of three off fast-medium bowler Peter Siddle's delivery, while Australian pace express Mitchell Johnson trapped Hafeez leg before wicket for a duck.

Azhar Ali and Younis Khan have kept the Pakistani batting line going very slowly but steadily.

Ali and Younis will resume their batting on their individual scores of 24 and 14 respectively after lunch.
