Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Friday that the unconstitutional and illegal demands of the protesting parties Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) would not be accepted.
Sharif said that the constitutional and legal demands of the parties have been discussed and the government was ready to pay attention to them but ruled out other 'unconstitutional and illegal' demands.
According to Dawn, the PM expressed his views while the Cabinet was briefed on the situation of law and order by Secretary Interior Shahid Khan.
The Cabinet was updated on the dialogue process with PTI chairman Imran Khan and PAT chief Tahirul Qadri.
The government believes that all issues can be resolved through talks and is firmly committed to the dialog process, said the premier.
